What do you believe it takes to grow your spiritual life?

Growing your roots means you take time to care and nurture them. Taking time to care and nurture your spiritual roots with result in spiritual growth. Ensuring that you have time to read the Bible, that you are worshipping Him through your life, and that you are praying to Him are great starts. Each person can do this differently, but it is important that it is a part of our daily lives.


QUESTION 3

PSALM 1:3He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.

How would you describe how you have been fertilizing and watering your roots?

Better way to ask this may be, what have you been putting into your heart? What has your heart been set on that it truly desires? This question can reveal what your heart truly longs for if it is not Jesus. It can also reveal some areas that we may need to invest more time into to see grow.


QUESTION 4

What can you do to grow those areas of weakness in your life?

This answer varies from person to person. If it is in relationships, they may need to take time to be single for a while. If it is about friendships, they may need to mend some bridges that that have burned down or forgive someone who has wronged them. There are steps each of us can take that can grow areas of weakness into areas that God makes us strong.
